Pantech C630 Entry-Level Phone Released for AT&T

Pantech today announced the C630, an affordable candy-bar style phone with GPS, music, chat and video options.

The compact C630 has numeric keys that glow white when pressed. It incorporates mixed materials such as a rubberized back panel, mirrored screen and a small joystick pad to provide easy handling during text and instant messaging, advanced turn-by-turn directions via AT&T Navigator, music listening via AT&T Mobile Music, and fast Internet browsing.

An integrated 1.3-megapixel camera snaps photos and videos, and AT&T Video Share lets customers have two-way video conversations over fast 3G speeds.
Bluetooth wireless technology lets users communicate without wires.

"The C630 is a little phone with big functionality," said Patrick Beattie, Vice President of Pantech Wireless. "We packed a lot in this device while working to keep the price affordable."

The Pantech C630 will be available starting this Friday for $39.99 after a two-year service agreement and mail-in rebate.
