BlackBerry Bold 9000 Smartphone

The BlackBerry Bold 9000 Smartphone is a fan favorite for its’ versatile features and distinctive styling. First off, this phone is smart, with tons of features that will leave you the envy of even your most technologically savvy friends.

The BlackBerry Bold 9000 Smartphone is a full featured SmartPhone at a competitive price. Although it usually retails for $249.00, you can save $100 now with a mail in rebate.

Blackberry Bold 9000

“Designed to give business professionals and power users unprecedented functionality and performance, the BlackBerry Bold is the fastest, most powerful Blackberry yet, with support for tri-band HSDPA high-speed networks around the world as well as integrated GPS and Wi-Fi networking (802.11a/b/g). It features a lustrous black exterior, satin chrome finished frame and stylish leather-like backplate, a sophisticated user interface, and a newly designed full-QWERTY keyboard.”

Service is on the AT&T Mobile Network, with full 3G capabilities. If for some reason the AT&T Mobile Network isn’t available in your area, don’t despair. The Blackberry Bold 900 SmartPhone also works on the AT&T EDGE network. The AT&T EDGE network is available in 13,000 cities.

If you’re like most people, you’ll love one feature of the Blackberry Bold 9000 more than others, and that’s the huge, user-friendly screen.”

What really makes the Bold “beautiful” is the HUGE screen. I thought the screen on my previous Curve was great. The screen on the Bold is twice the resolution (480×320 vs. 320×240). It is absolutely amazing. Not only is it stunning for movies and photos, it makes browsing the web and simply reading emails so much easier. You can fit significantly more information on the screen. The same auto-backlighting feature found on the Curve is also on the Bold. It senses the lighting conditions of the room and adjusts backlighting. I love this feature,” wrote one enthused reviewer.

If you act right now, you can save $100 on your purchase of the BlackBerry Bold 900 Smartphone. Along with the phone’s elegant styling and all of the advanced capability of the AT&T 36 Mobile Network is an unbeatable combination.

Streaming TV on your iPhone!

Perhaps this post isn't entirely suited here; but I feel it definitely sorta fits in. Orb have just released a $10 iPhone version of their media streamer for the iPhone; allowing users with a Windows PC capable of tuning into television, to stream broadcasts straight to their iPhones over wifi/3g/edge

This is a nice little idea that could let you keep up with your favorite shows while on the move, or even if you just can't be bothered to get out of bed!

Media streaming is something that we always encourage here at Wired Home, and portable streaming; even better!

TV on your iPhone or iPod Touch

An inexpensive new piece of software exploits the iPhone and iPod Touch"s new ability to download over-the-air podcasts. It"s now a way to watch TV on Apple"s lovely mobile screen. The program is called--wait for it--Television.

Joel Evans of Geek.com took Television for a test drive and liked it a lot; check out his first look here. The $2.99 program, available at the App Store, is said to make it possible to see 50 shows from 30 different channels in the United States, the UK, France and Germany. Find the list here. At least some of what you can download looks like snippets and highlights rather than complete programs.
